BAWANG
BAWANG is a photo series publication that reimagines the popular folktale of Bawang Putih dan Bawang Merah (meaning garlic and onion in Malay) through experimental and modern imagery. This publication aims to serve as a stepping stone to re-lens stories that make up the backbone of our own individual cultures that has been passed down from generation to generation in a more contemporary light in order to conserve its importance in today’s society, especially towards the youth through the lens of fashion.
