As an aspiring Indian fashion curator, Nidhi derives inspiration from the rich culture of her country of origin. By taking seemingly random objects and giving them meaning under a unifying concept, she aims is to broach the fashion industry through a unique perspective. Her research is driven by the amalgamation of art, history and fashion and the melange of the three.

Padmini from Thuriya; Transcending beauty
An image from the exhibition Thuriya presented to showcase and highlight the variety of skin colours found in India by recreating paintings done by the prominent artist Raja Ravi Varma during British rule. This exhibition serves to challenge the Western beauty standards enforced on Indians during colonisation, that lasts till today.
