Ng Jia Yi Sarah Kelly
Sarah is a graduating student from the Fashion Design and Textiles programme in LASALLE College of the Arts. Versatile in various art mediums with a keen interest in design, her passion for fashion design and textiles has allowed her to tackle current environmental issues. Her ongoing research intersects with textile design, sustainability and technology. Her practice involves embroidery, print and collaborations with other design fields to develop new and efficient processes.

Disposable Fashion
Disposable Fashion, explores a new perspective of sustainable fashion consumption by introducing new biodegradable materials. The increasing amount of clothes thrown away offers an opportunity to rethink the materials used in Fast Fashion. With biodegradable materials, the end-of-life of garments returns to nature. A circular system to produce biodegradable materials can create a sustainable future.
