Shamirul has worked in the entertainment and events industry since 2013, specialising in stage management and lighting. He has worked with reputable theatre practitioners such as Aidli ‘Alin’ Mosbit, Rayann Condy, Christabel Lim, Steve Kwek and Tommy Wong. Priding himself as a flexible manager and technician, Shamirul has worked in the stage management and lighting departments for LASALLE’s Twelfth Night and As You Like it (dir. Micheal Earley), as well as for professional shows Wanita and Emily of Emerald Hill (dir. Aidli ‘Alin’ Mosbit). Shamirul hopes to continue working in the events and theatre industry.
