Zaini Hassan

Zaini believes that good writing creates room for honesty on the stage (and beyond). In his time in the Diploma in Performance programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, Zaini has actively contributed to productions by writing original songs scenes for the production Cool Shorts (dir. Matt Grey). His original songs have also been published on Spotify. In his free time, he finds pleasure in poetry writing and illustrating. Outside of LASALLE, he has worked under prolific director Samantha Scott-Blackhall in Smartypants and the Swordfish, a show for young audiences at Gateway Theatre. Zaini was also selected to represent LASALLE at the Asia-Pacific Bond of Theatre Schools Festival in Hanoi in 2019.
