Genevieve Tan

Diploma in Performance
2018 — 2021

Genevieve's passion for theatre began rather serendipitously at the age of 17 – she began acting, facilitating training and informally directing several productions as part of a school co-curricular activity she joined on a whim. Today, she is an aspiring performer and theatre-maker. She also sings part-time, performing at professional and private music gigs and festivals with her indie music duo The Moonhouse. She holds a Diploma in Psychology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and is a two-time LASALLE Scholarship recipient. Gen hopes to further the training she has received in theatre-making at the undergraduate level and work in the local theatre scene in the future. She believes that theatre can serve as a powerful agent for change, and aspires to create and partake in work that makes positive social change.
