Alex Kong

BA(Hons) Musical Theatre
2018 — 2021

Alex trained as a dancer for 12 years before making the leap into musical theatre, having been inspired by musicals from a young age. Beyond honing her onstage skills in acting, singing and dance, she has also served as a co-creator of a musical film titled Stages Of at LASALLE College of the Arts, as well as spent an exciting six-month internship in KidZania’s artistic team. As a dancer, Alex has performed for prestigious, large-scale events such as the 2010 Youth Olympic Games and 2011 National Day Parade. As an actor, Alex recently played the lead role in the award-winning short film Stay Home Neighbour (2020), commissioned by IMDA. In her personal time, Alex is a Tabata workout enthusiast who is always looking for the perfect cup of coffee.
