Seema Punwani

Born in Spain and raised in Mumbai, Seema Punwani is a single mother, now living in Singapore. Her debut novel Cross Connection was launched at the Pune International Literary Festival in India in 2018. Her short fiction was anthologized in The Best Asian Short Stories 2019 (ed. Hisham Bustani) and again in The Best Asian Short Stories 2020 (ed. Zafar Anjum), her poetry has been a finalist at the Poetry Festival Singapore 2019 and Falling, a play of hers, will be staged at the Dastak Theatre Festival in Singapore in 2021. Seema has a Masters in Management Studies and a MA in Creative Writing from LASALLE College of the Arts.
