The importance of Singapore theatre in discussing mental health issues
This research proposal aims to analyse how the usage of Singapore theatre as a platform to raise awareness of mental health well-being has allowed for the subject of mental health to be openly discussed within an audience without the restrictions of perceived stigmatisation. The research also intends to understand the impact that using theatre to engage in the topic of mental health has on both theatre practitioners and theatre-goers.
