Understanding arts policies that enhance arts accessibility in Singapore

This paper aims to understand how government policies implemented by the state enhances arts accessibility for persons with disabilities in Singapore. An analysis of policies will be presented to provide an overview of how the government policies in Singapore have changed over time, in relation to the extent of efforts made in improving accessibility to the arts for persons with disabilities. This paper presents recommendations for future arts policies to reduce the negative impact faced by persons with disabilities due to the inaccessibility of the arts for the disabled community in Singapore.
