Thesis abstract

So what is puppetry, Generation Z?

This thesis seeks to investigate the relationship between The Finger Players (TFP) and Generation Z (Gen Z) in relation to puppetry by studying the perception of puppetry by Gen Z and TFP’s marketing and audience cultivation strategies. This thesis also aims to identify challenges in the promotion and awareness of TFP’s brand of puppetry among the diverse, fast-moving and go-getting generation of consumers. The objectives of this research include identifying the potential for puppetry to grow among Gen Z and matching that to TFP’s priorities in its audience outreach through quantitative and qualitative research methods.
