BA(Hons) Music
2019 — 2021

Shania will complete her BA(Hons) Music degree at LASALLE College of the Arts in 2021. Shania majors in classical vocal performance and has experience performing a wide range of repertoire from classical and choral music to pop. At LASALLE, she also collaborated with students from other music specialisms such as electronic music and pop. Outside of school, Shania has been a music educator for the past five years, teaching pop and classical vocals, music theory and beginner's piano. She completed her Diploma in Music and ARSM in Singing in 2019, and is currently training as a mezzo-soprano under the tutelage of Stella Zhou. After graduating from LASALLE, Shania intends to pursue her Master's in classical performance overseas.

Work

In 2019, Shania performed at Carnegie Hall for the American Protege International Singing Competition. She was named second runner-up for all three voice categories (Classical, Opera Aria and 20th Century/Musical Theatre). She has also performed in other notable venues such as Victoria Concert Hall, Esplanade Recital Studio, Singapore Airlines Theatre and Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre.
