Lek Kai Wen
Kai Wen will graduate with a BA(Hons) Music degree from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2021. Prior to his undergraduate studies, Kai Wen obtained a Diploma in Music and Audio Technology, giving him experience in production techniques as well as performance. While his voice is his main instrument, Kai Wen plays the guitar to complement his performance and songwriting abilities. His experience in playing various other instruments from his time in church and school has also helped him arrange music for his original compositions. Kai Wen hopes to tell stories in his music through captivating lyrics and emotional harmonies. After graduation, Kai Wen hopes to teach as well as perform. He eventually hopes to start a programme teaching Christian music.
Work
Kai Wen specialised in pop performance vocals and excels in the singer-songwriter style. He has written many original songs together with his classmates and intends to create a collaborative album with a compilation of their best works in the future.
