BA(Hons) Music
2019 — 2021

Emily Sera will graduate with a BA(Hons) Music degree from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2021. Majoring in vocals, Emily is the frontwoman and bassist for the alternative rock/shoegaze band, Coming Up Roses. Emily prides herself in writing songs that are direct and honest, dealing with issues that are critical to the human experience. This vision has lent itself to Emily’s distinct first-person storytelling style being a distinctive lyrical trait in Coming Up Roses’ songs. Emily strives to expand her craft as a musician and songwriter, while continuing to perform at festivals across Singapore and beyond. She hopes to bring people closer to one another through her songs.
