Devina Natalie Sutjiono
Devina, also known as Dev, is a violinist, composer and educator from Indonesia. She has a versatile repertoire ranging from pop and country to rock and alternative music. At LASALLE, Devina learned numerous unique violin techniques, which she has applied to her original compositions. Besides creating her own original compositions, Devina is a session violinist and has worked with numerous local artists from Singapore and Indonesia. Devina is currently teaching violin at Ossia Music School.
Work
Devina is known as the violinist of Singapore’s local alternative band Building Fire and modern pop band Cosmical. With Building Fire, she has performed at LASALLE’s Rock and Indie Festival (2020) and ARTWALK Little India (2021). She also featured in LASALLE’s The Living Composer Series as a session violinist for local band Mistrio. Her compositional work for LASALLE's interdisciplinary project earned her a chance to work with Hermès Singapore in 2021.
