Alim is a session bass player, music arranger and music educator. Alim has worked with many local artists and is a part of several bands. As a bassist, he sees his role as building a solid foundation for the performance by holding down the groove and rhythm of the songs together with the drummer. As a music educator, Alim believes that learning should be a fun and fruitful process. He focuses on building good fundamental techniques through the incorporation of finger exercises into songs and also encourages melodic bass development in his lessons. After graduating from LASALLE, Alim intends to further his career as a session musician and music teacher.
