A film about the progress of time, The Nights celebrates the beauty of the night, featuring noises recorded from real life. The film opens with the dazzling lights of the city, followed by the stillness of sleep with the chirping of cicadas and ending with the rousing of the city's inhabitants as they rise to a new morning.
