Victoria Hertel is a German-Venezuelan artist working in process painting and material studies. She is interested in material-oriented phenomena and trace as energy in materialities. Her work is characterised by a monochromatic and organic aesthetic that highlights the communicative potential of materialities.

Hertel graduated from the University of Barcelona with a BFA in Contemporary Art Practices in 2016 and has since been working as an artist in Europe and Asia. In 2021 she will be graduating with an MA in Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts, awarded by Goldsmiths, University of London.
