Tianyue Wang

Tianyue Wang is a painter and illustrator. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and will graduate with an MA in Fine Art from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2021. Wang’s art practice focuses on abstract mixed-material painting and digital arts. Inspiration comes from her daily life, books and media. She records visions in her mind and creates portraits through her creative language. Her recent practice examines ways in which young Chinese women express themselves in virtual communities.
