Sim Jia En

Sim Jia En’s body of works examines the act of 'buying time' in the ways people transfer time from familiar and external objects into our bodies. She is particularly interested in developing site-specific works for the element of spontaneous spatial play and capturing any given set of conditions at the present moment with her interventions. She hopes viewers will be able to see and appreciate the power of the ephemeral in transitions from physicality to moments, experiences and memories.
