Shanice Ng, also known as Shan, is a coffee lover first before being an artist. But when she is done with her cuppa joe, she looks for pockets of inspiration in modern media and culture, finding muses in a myriad of corners of the internet. This culminates in works which manifest as a form of meta-art, or commentaries that hold their own narratives which exist on their own rights. Shan encourages viewers to never take her works too seriously as well as to avoid the trap of edifying the work beyond its original premise.
