Divyam Raghunath

Divyam Raghunath is a Singapore-based fine artist originally from India. He is motivated to change people's mindsets about art as he grew up in an environment where art is not considered a viable career option. He will complete his undergraduate studies in the BA(Hons) Fine Arts programme at LASALLE College of the Arts in 2021. As an artist, Divyam aims to provide a positive impact through his artworks. His art practice is based on self-expression and his artworks draw inspiration from real life experiences. These are then expressed in the form of gestures and movements based on pressure sensitivity and colour psychology. The colours and brushstrokes traced in his paintings define his everyday mood and emotions like a personal diary.
